BNV : শলোমনের প্রার্থনা শেষ হলে, আকাশ থেকে একটি অগ্নিশিখা নেমে এসে হোমবলি নিবেদিত উত্সর্গগুলিকে পুড়িয়ে ফেলল এবং প্রভুর মহিমার উপস্থিতিতে সমস্ত মন্দির ভরে গেল|
KJV : Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
YLT : And at Solomon`s finishing to pray, then the fire hath come down from the heavens, and consumeth the burnt-offering and the sacrifices, and the honour of Jehovah hath filled the house,

BNV : প্রভুর মহিমার উপস্থিতির কারণে যাজকরা প্রভুর মন্দিরে প্রবেশ করতে পারলেন না|
KJV : And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the glory of the LORD had filled the LORD’S house.

BNV : সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়রা যারা এই অগ্নিশিখা ও প্রভুর মহিমার উপস্থিতি স্বচক্ষে প্রত্যক্ষ করল তারা তাদের মাথা আভূমি নত করল, তারা প্রভুর উপাসনা করল এবং গাইল, “আমাদের প্রভু মহান; তাঁর করুণা সদা প্রবহমান|”
KJV : And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, [saying,] For [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
YLT : And all the sons of Israel are looking on the descending of the fire, and the honour of Jehovah on the house, and they bow -- faces to the earth -- on the pavement, and do obeisance, and give thanks to Jehovah, for good, for to the age [is] His kindness.

ERVEN : When all the Israelites saw the fire come down from heaven and the Glory of the Lord on the Temple, they bowed their faces down low to the ground on the pavement. They worshiped and thanked the Lord. They sang the song, The Lord Is Good. His Faithful Love Will Last Forever.

BNV : অতঃপর রাজা শলোমন এবং ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা প্রভুর সামনে
KJV : Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.

KJV : And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments of musick of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because his mercy [endureth] for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
YLT : And the priests over their charges are standing, and the Levites with instruments of the song of Jehovah -- that David the king made, to give thanks to Jehovah, for to the age [is] His kindness, in David`s praising by their hand -- and the priests are blowing trumpets over-against them, and all Israel are standing.

ERVEN : The priests stood ready to do their work. The Levites stood with the instruments they would use to play music to the Lord. King David made these instruments to use in giving thanks to the Lord. The priests and Levites sang the song, Praise the Lord Because His Faithful Love Will Last Forever. The priests blew their trumpets as they stood across from the Levites. And all the Israelites were standing.

BNV : এবং শলোমন প্রভুর মন্দিরের সামনের অঙ্গণের মধ্যভাগ নিবেদন করলেন এবং তিনি হোমবলি ও মঙ্গল নৈবেদ্য়ের চর্বি অংশটি উত্সর্গ করলেন| শলোমন এই উত্সর্গগুলি অঙ্গণের মাঝখানে নিবেদন করলেন কারণ তিনি পিতলের যে বেদীটি বানিয়েছিলেন সেটি হোমবলি, শস্য নৈবেদ্য চর্বি ধারণের পক্ষে খুবই ছোট ছিল|
KJV : Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that [was] before the house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the brasen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt offerings, and the meat offerings, and the fat.
YLT : And Solomon sanctifieth the middle of the court that [is] before the house of Jehovah, for he hath made there the burnt-offerings, and the fat of the peace-offerings: for the altar of brass that Solomon made hath not been able to contain the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat.

ASV : Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the house of Jehovah; for there he offered the burnt-offerings, and the fat of the peace-offerings, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able to receive the burnt-offering, and the meal-offering, and the fat.
ESV : And Solomon consecrated the middle of the court that was before the house of the LORD, for there he offered the burnt offering and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar Solomon had made could not hold the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat.
ERVEN : King Solomon also dedicated the yard in front of the Temple. He offered burnt offerings, grain offerings, and the fat from the animals that were used as fellowship offerings. King Solomon made these offerings there in the yard. He did this because the bronze altar in front of the Lord was too small to hold them all.

BNV : শলোমন ও ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা টানা সাত দিন ধরে খাওয়াদাওযা ও উত্সব করলেন| শলোমনের সঙ্গে অনেকে ছিলেন| এঁরা সকলে হমাতের প্রবেশদ্বার থেকে শুরু করে মিশরের ঝর্ণা পর্য়ন্ত বিস্তৃত সুবিস্তীর্ণ অঞ্চলে বাস করতেন|
KJV : Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.
YLT : And solomon maketh the feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him -- a very great assembly -- from the entering in of Hamath unto the brook of Egypt.

ERVEN : So there at the Temple, King Solomon and all the people of Israel celebrated the festival. People came from as far away as Hamath Pass in the north and the border of Egypt in the south. This huge crowd of people who ate, drank, and enjoyed themselves together with the Lord for seven days.

BNV : সাতদিন উত্সব পালনের পরে অষ্টম দিনের দিন একটা বড় পবিত্র সভার আযোজন করা হল| এরপর শুধুমাত্র প্রভুর উপাসনার জন্য বেদীটিকে পবিত্র করে তাঁরা আরো সাতদিন ধরে খাওয়াদাওযা ও আনন্দ করলেন|
KJV : And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
YLT : And they make on the eighth day a restraint, because the dedication of the altar they have made seven days, and the feast seven days.

BNV : সপ্তম মাসের23দিনের দিন শলোমন সবাইকে তাদের বাড়িতে ফেরত্‌ পাঠালেন| দায়ূদ ও তাঁর পুত্র শলোমন এবং ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের প্রতি প্রভুর কৃপাদৃষ্টির কথা ভেবে সবাই খুবই খুশী ছিল এবং তাদের হৃদয় ভরে ছিল এক অনির্বচনীয আনন্দে|
KJV : And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
YLT : And on the twenty and third day of the seventh month he hath sent the people to their tents, rejoicing, and glad in heart, for the goodness that Jehovah hath done to David, and to Solomon, and to Israel His people.
RV : And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh mouth he sent the people away unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
RSV : On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that the LORD had shown to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.
ASV : And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away unto their tents, joyful and glad of heart for the goodness that Jehovah had showed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
ESV : On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the prosperity that the LORD had granted to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.
ERVEN : On the 23 day of the seventh month Solomon told the people to go home. All the people thanked the king, said goodbye, and went home. They were happy because of all the good things that the Lord had done for David his servant and for his people Israel.

BNV : শলোমন সফলভাবে প্রভুর মন্দির ও তাঁর নিজের রাজপ্রাসাদ নির্মাণের কাজ শেষ করলেন|
KJV : Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.
YLT : And Solomon finisheth the house of Jehovah, and the house of the king; and all that hath come on the heart of Solomon to do in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he hath caused to prosper.
RV : Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king-s house: and all that came into Solomon-s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

ERVEN : So Solomon finished building the Lord's Temple and his own palace. Solomon built everything that he wanted to build.

BNV : তারপর রাতে বয়ং প্রভু শলোমনকে দর্শন দিয়ে বললেন, “শলোমন, তোমার প্রার্থনা আমার কানে পৌঁছেছে| এই স্থানটিকে আমি আমার কাছে বলিদানের জায়গা হিসেবে বেছে নিয়েছি|
KJV : And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
YLT : And Jehovah appeareth unto Solomon by night, and saith to him, `I have heard thy prayer, and have fixed on this place to Me for a house of sacrifice.
RV : And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have heard thy prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
RSV : Then the LORD appeared to Solomon in the night and said to him: "I have heard your prayer, and have chosen this place for myself as a house of sacrifice.

BNV : তখন যদি আমার লোকরা অসত্‌ পথ ও আচরণ ত্যাগ করে ব্যাকুল ও অনুতপ্ত চিত্তে আমায় ডাকে, তবে আমি অবশ্যই তাদের আবেদনে সাড়া দিয়ে তাদের পাপকে ক্ষমা করব এবং দেশটিকে সারিযে তুলব|
KJV : If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
YLT : and My people on whom My name is called be humbled, and pray, and seek My face, and turn back from their evil ways, then I -- I hear from the heavens, and forgive their sin, and heal their land.

BNV : এখন যে প্রার্থনা এই স্থানে নিবেদিত হবে আমি তার প্রতি সজাগ থাকবো|
KJV : Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer [that is made] in this place.
YLT : `Now, Mine eyes are open, and Mine ears attentive, to the prayer of this place;

BNV : আমি এই মন্দিরকে আমার নাম প্রচারের জন্যে বেছে নিয়েছি এবং আমার উপস্থিতি দিয়ে একে পবিত্র করেছি| আমার দৃষ্টি ও হৃদয় সদাসর্বদা এখানেই থাকবে|
KJV : For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
YLT : and now, I have chosen and sanctified this house for My name being there unto the age; yea, Mine eyes and My heart have been there all the days.

BNV : “শোনো শলোমন, তুমি যদি তোমার পিতা দাযূদের মতো আমার বিধি ও নিয়ম মেনে জীবনযাপন করো,
KJV : And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments;
YLT : `And thou, if thou dost walk before Me as David thy father walked, even to do according to all that I have commanded thee, and My statutes and My judgments dost keep --
RV : And as for thee, if thou wilt walk before me as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments;

ERVEN : You must serve me with a pure and honest heart, just as your father David did. You must obey my laws and do everything that I commanded you. If you obey all I have commanded, and if you obey my laws and rules,

BNV : তাহলে তোমার পিতা দাযূদের সঙ্গে আমি যে চুক্তি করেছিলাম, যাতে আমি বলেছিলাম, ‘তোমার উত্তরপুরুষদের একজন সর্বদা ইস্রাযেল শাসন করবে,” সেই চুক্তি অনুযায়ীআমি তোমাকে শক্তিশালী রাজা করে তুলবো|’
KJV : Then will I stablish the throne of thy kingdom, according as I have covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man [to be] ruler in Israel.
YLT : then I have established the throne of thy kingdom, as I covenanted with David thy father, saying, There is not cut off a man to thee -- a ruler in Israel;

ESV : then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, 'You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.'
ERVEN : then I will make you a strong king and your kingdom will be great. That is the agreement I made with David your father when I told him that Israel would always be ruled by one of his descendants.

BNV : “কিন্তু তুমি যদি আমার বিধি নির্দেশ যা আমি তোমাকে দিয়েছিলাম, অমান্য কর এবং অন্যান্য মূর্ত্তিসমূহের পূজো কর ও তাদের সেবা করতে শুরু করো,
KJV : But if ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them;

BNV : তাহলে আমি আমার যে ভূখণ্ড তাদের দিয়েছিলাম সেখান থেকে ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের বিতাড়িত করব; এবং আমার নামে বানানো এই পবিত্র মন্দির ত্যাগ করব এবং এর এমন দশা করবো যে সমস্ত জাতিসমূহের মধ্যে সেটা একটা উপহাসের পাত্র হয়ে দাঁড়াবে|
KJV : Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it [to be] a proverb and a byword among all nations.

ERVEN : then I will take the Israelites out from my land that I gave them. And I will leave this Temple that I have made holy for my name. I will make this Temple something that all the nations will speak evil about.

BNV : এখন এই গৃহটি মহিমান্বিত| কিন্তু যখন এসব ঘটবে, যারাই এর পাশ দিয়ে হেঁটে যাবে, আশ্চর্য্য় হয়ে বলবে, ‘প্রভু কেন এই দেশ ও মন্দিরের প্রতি এই আচরণ করলেন?’
KJV : And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
YLT : `And this house that hath been high, to every one passing by it, is an astonishment, and he hath said, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus to this land, and to this house?
RV : And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?
RSV : And at this house, which is exalted, every one passing by will be astonished, and say, `Why has the LORD done thus to this land and to this house?"
ASV : And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house?
ESV : And at this house, which was exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished and say, 'Why has the LORD done thus to this land and to this house?'
ERVEN : Everyone who sees it will be amazed. They will ask, 'Why did the Lord do this terrible thing to this land and to this temple?'

BNV : তখন লোকরা উত্তর দেবে, ‘কারণ ইস্রায়েলের লোকরা প্রভুকে, তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের ঈশ্বরকে, যিনি তাদের মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করেছিলেন, তাঁকে পরিত্যাগ করেছে| তারা অন্য মূর্ত্তিসমূহের পূজো করে ও তাদের সেবা করে তাদের গ্রহণ করেছে| এই কারণে প্রভু তাদের ওপরে এই ভয়ঙ্কর এবং আতঙ্কজনক শাস্তি এনে দিয়েছেন|”
KJV : And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.
YLT : and they have said, Because that they have forsaken Jehovah, God of their fathers, who brought them out from the land of Egypt, and lay hold on other gods, and bow themselves to them, and serve them, therefore He hath brought upon them all this evil.`
RV : And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD, the God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

ESV : Then they will say, 'Because they abandoned the LORD, the God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore he has brought all this disaster on them.'"
ERVEN : People will say, 'This happened because they left the Lord their God. He brought their ancestors out of Egypt, but they decided to follow other gods. They began to worship and to serve those gods. That is why the Lord caused all these bad things to happen to them.'"
